Who is responsible

Jamie Gaunt Enterprises Limited, trading as Data Operatives (company number 11352613, registered in England and Wales), is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact us at info@dataoperatives.com, or Unit 4, Aynsley Mill, Sutherland Road, Stoke-on-Trent, ST3 1HH.

What we collect

If you enquire, we collect the contact and company details you provide, your message, your preferred meeting format and a record of our correspondence. The website form also identifies which page the enquiry came from. Please do not send customer records, sensitive information about others or confidential documents through this form.

Website and email infrastructure may process technical information such as IP addresses and delivery logs to operate and protect those services.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond, arrange a conversation, assess whether we can help and prepare a proposal if requested. Our legitimate interest is responding to relevant business enquiries and managing business relationships. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you personally, we use the information for those steps.

You choose whether to contact us. We need a way to reply and enough context to understand the enquiry. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Business prospect research and outreach

We may obtain business contact information from company websites, professional profiles, business directories and information you or a professional contact provide. This can include your name, role, company, business contact details, source links and research about whether our services may be relevant to your organisation. You can ask us where we obtained your details.

Our legitimate interest is identifying relevant business needs and offering our workflow review and implementation services to suitable organisations. We assess and record the relevance and balance of interests before using personal information for this purpose. We use contact channels only where the applicable marketing rules permit; publicly available details do not by themselves amount to consent.

You can object to direct marketing at any time by replying to a message or emailing info@dataoperatives.com. We will stop using your information for direct marketing and retain a minimal suppression record, such as the contact address and objection date, to prevent further approaches.

Who receives it

People working for Data Operatives who need to handle your enquiry may access it. Hosting, email and business-administration service providers may process information on our behalf. We may also disclose relevant records where required by law or to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell enquiry information. If an engagement requires access to your systems or client data, we agree the relevant access, confidentiality and data-processing arrangements separately.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry and business contact information while dealing with your request, a relevant business opportunity or a resulting business relationship. We determine the retention period by considering whether the enquiry remains active, any agreed follow-up, and the records needed for contracts, accounting or legal claims. We review records and remove information that is no longer needed.

Cookies and browser storage

This website’s own code does not set cookies, use browser storage, load advertising or analytics scripts, or embed meeting platforms. Following an external link or joining a meeting takes you to a service with its own privacy information.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your personal information, correction, erasure, restriction or a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact info@dataoperatives.com with your request.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

We update this notice when the way we handle enquiries changes. The date above identifies this version.
